Avnet Silica partners with Digi International for IoT technologies
Avnet Silica, an Avnet company, has been appointed as a franchised distributor for the EMEA region for products from Digi International, the Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity products and services provider.
Recently, Avnet was appointed one of Digi International’s global distribution partners. Avnet Silica has therefore become a major channel in the EMEA region to service the fast-growing market for Digi International’s wireless products and technologies.

Digi International is recognised for its advanced wireless and system on modules (SOMs) for industrial markets and with Digi XBee RF modems and cellular modems. In addition, Digi International is a preferred partner for NXP, which further augments Avnet Silica’s wireless portfolio, based around NXP’s semiconductor technologies. All of Digi International’s products and technologies will be available via Avnet Silica, yet RF and embedded SOMs for industrial IoT markets and applications will remain a key focus for the distributor.
