Components Bureau adds Advanced Energy’s CoolX 3000 series
3000W configurable AC/DC power supplies from Advanced Energy are now available from Components Bureau. The Excelsys CoolX 3000 offers intelligent digital power with up to 24 isolated outputs.
The small, configurable power supply offers an incredible 3000W in a small package measuring just 300 x 131 x 120mm. It is intended for use where smaller power supplies are required, delivering the same power but in a smaller footprint.
The CoolX3000 series offers up to 24 outputs. All outputs are isolated (1850V AC). The power supply has PMBus digital communications for monitoring and control capability. There are also series and parallel outputs for higher voltage and currents.
The power supply offers up to 91 per cent efficiency with variable fan speed control. It has level 4 input surge protection with a MTBF of 150,000 hours. It is covered by a five-year warranty. Input voltage range is 180 to 264V AC or 300V AC for five seconds. Output voltage is 1.0 to 696V and ripple and noise is one per cent of nominal.
Other characteristics are a wide operating temperature range of -25 to +60 degrees C, an eight-way connector interface and voltage control via potentiometer.
The intelligent modular power supply is suitable for medical, industrial and harsh industrial applications, advises Components Bureau.
