Data connectivity is focus for Bulgin updates
The data connectivity portfolio from Bulgin has been expanded to offer simplex and duplex connectors for harsh broadcast environments, USB type C connectors and CAT 6 connectors with single- or double-ended Ethernet cabling.
Bulgin says it is constantly revising and modifying its data connectivity suite to make updates to the specifications of interconnect products on a regular basis, to ensure that they align with the latest standards and protocols.
The Fiber 4000 series of simplex and Fiber 6000 series (pictured) of duplex circular connectors are both suitable for outside broadcast, avionics, the broadband upgrade fibre in the loop (FTTX) and marine applications. They are constructed with polyamide moulding and IP66, IP68 and IP69K rated seals. The rugged connectors use Bulgin’s proprietary 30 degree locking mechanism.
There is also the robust PXP4040 USB Type C connectors, which are available with a variety of different cable length options. They support two-lane USB4 Gen 3 operation (enabling 40Gbits per second data rates over a distance of 0.8m).
The PX0896, PX0897, PX0898 series of CAT 6 connectors can be supplied with single-ended and doubled-ended Ethernet cabling, as well as in wire-end options.
All of these connectors have a lightweight but heavy-duty design and are supplied with assured long-term operational reliability, even in challenging environments.
