Data Modul broadens curved display portfolio
Large-format J-curved models have been added to Data Modul’s curved display portfolio. The J-curved displays have different radii to the already available C-curved displays. The special design and large diagonals means the curved displays are suitable for use in slot machines, vending machines or digital signage, says the company.
When installed vertically, the J-curved displays can be used to create complex three-dimensional designs for gaming and vending machines. The displays are available individually or as a complete system. The curvature can be adapted to customer requirements. Data Modul offers an in-house developed and pre-configured UHDII controller for controlling curved displays. Used with other components, such as individual LED lighting concepts, touchscreens and matching accessories, customers can choose a wide range of displays which can be used to quickly and efficiently realise even extraordinary product designs.
The 43-inch J-curved display is available with different radii and a 3840 x 2160 UHD resolution. Brightness is 500nits and the touchscreen (pcap) displays have a 50k hour lifetime.
The 55-inch J-curved display are also available with different radii and the same UHD resolution. Brightness is also 500nits and operating lifetime is 30k hours. It is optionally available as a touchscreen (pcap) display.
Samples of the J-curved display models are available now. In addition to the two new displays, J-curved and C-curved displays are also available in the sizes 49- and 50-inch on request, depending on customer requirements and order volume
