Debug probe is simple for faster STM32 programming
Designed for simple, fast programming and ease of use, the STLink-V3Set is a compact debug probe that can be used anywhere to upload and debug applications on STM32 microcontrollers. It leverages ST Microelectronics’ 14-pin STDC14 debug cable to support Virtual COM Port (VCP). This feature enhances operation by observing runtime data on the host PC for faster, clearer debugging.
It also provides mass-storage support to upload files directly through the probe with a simple drag and drop to trial new ideas or run demo applications.
Moreover, STLINK-V3Mini has reference files for 3D printing that let owners create their own customized casing for the probe.
STink-V3Mini interacts with the STM32CubeProgrammer and is directly supported in popular commercial integrated development environments (IDEs) including Keil MDK-ARM, IAR EWarm, and GCC-based IDEs including a free STM32CubeIDE from ST. The company also provides free access to the probe’s low-level application programming interface (APIs) to help integrate STLink-V3Mini in custom test platforms.
