DesignSpark PCB v10 include library time stamps and other user requests

Features have been added to DesignSpark PCB PRO as RS Components releases v10, the PCB design software.

Additional capabilities include the option to disconnect from signal nets and to output drill data from Gerber. There is also a component-to-component SMT check, library item time stamps and improvements to the Component Wizard.

These features are also available in the updated version of DesignSpark PCB which is available free-of-charge from RS Components.

DesignSpark PCB PRO, V10.0 also has features requested by existing customers, such as intelligent backups, new design rule checks (DRCs), a new nets bar, manufacturability and plotting enhancements.

New users can now purchase a perpetual licence for DesignSpark PCB PRO via through their RS Components account, using the dedicated stock number (220-5326). Existing PRO v9 customers can upgrade to v10 using the RS stock number 220-5327. The introduction of a stock number is designed to make the purchasing operation simpler as customers no longer have to enter payment details or complete an additional financial transaction.

New PRO users can access all its features through a perpetual licence for the one-off price of £375 + VAT. Existing licensees can upgrade to V10.0 for £75 + VAT. DesignSpark PCB PRO V10.0 will now be available to license though all of RS’ regionalised websites in the local currency.
