Digi-Key signs global agreement with Danisense

Popular models of Danisense’s high accuracy current transducers are now available through distributor, Digi-Key.

Following a global distribution agreement, the distributor will offer 17 models and accessories available ex-stock.

The Danisense current transducers available from Digi-Key span 50 to 2,000A. All are based on Danisense’s closed loop, flux gate sensor technology, which results in accurate, stable and repeatable measurement, says Danisense. The transducers are suitable for use in the automotive, renewables and industrial sectors.

Shawn Martinsen, product manager, sensor technology at Denisense believes the agreement will “expand Digi-Key’s broad portfolio of high accuracy current transducers for applications like e-mobility, power converters, oscilloscopes, multimeters, medical equipment, battery storage. . .”.

Danisense was founded in 2012 and is based in Denmark and Japan. The company combines magnetic and electronics expertise to create high precision current transducers, enabling Danisense to create solutions that enable its customers to quickly and easy measure AC and DC currents with accuracies down to 1ppm. Its products have an extremely flat frequency response and outstanding DC stability.

The transducers are made in Danisense’s vertically-integrated Danish facility.
