Dimmable drivers support LED lighting motion sensing
Distributor Ideal Power has added the latest Xelite dimmable LED drivers, the XT-GR series.
Designed for smart building applications, the drivers are supplied ready to connect a motion sensor for fast and reliable proximity activation. Target applications are interior or exterior lighting for warehouses, passageways, schools, parking lots, supermarkets, and office buildings. The sensor can be connected to the driver’s AC or DC side for flexibility and convenience.
The XT-GR series covers power ratings from 12 to 30W and all models come in a compact 288 x 30 x 28mm form factor. The energy-saving drivers offer power factor up to 0.9 and maximum efficiency up to 86 per cent.
All models integrate over-voltage and short-circuit protection with automatic recovery for minimal disruption. A selection of output voltage ranges is offered: 24 to 40V, 27 to 40V and 36 to 50V for use with lights of various sizes and LED-string lengths.
The XT-GR motion-ready series joins the extensive range of Xelite drivers available in the UK from Ideal Power. The complete portfolio supports major dimming techniques including DALI, 1-10V, and ZigBee. The drivers are manufactured in Xelite’s ISO 9001-accredited factory in Guangdong, China. All models are certified in accordance with international standards including CE.
