Display Technology adds S650DJJ-T01 TFT display with automatic light adjustment
Distributor, Display Technology has added Innolux’s 65-inch UHD TFT display kit for intelligent, outdoors applications. The S650DJJ-T01 consists of a TFT display offering 2000cd/m2 brightness and a wide operating temperature range of -20 to +50 degrees C and a Prisma-4K-Advanced TFT controller.
The Prisma-4K-Advanced TFT controller automatically adapts to unfavourable light and temperature conditions to deliver quality readability. It has a wide operating temperature range of -20 to +60 degrees C and is equipped with a temperature sensor.
If the temperature drops below -20 degrees C, the controller switches on the backlight one minute before the TFT display to reach the necessary operating temperature.
For outside temperatures above this threshold, the backlight and TFT are switched on simultaneously.
If the display temperature reaches +40 degrees C, the TFT-controller halves the screen brightness and activates a fan signal so that the target temperature of +50 degrees C is not exceeded, advises Display Technology.
The Prisma-4K-Advanced also regulates the display brightness to match the ambient brightness using an integrated brightness sensor. This ensures a perfect and glare-free readable display at all times and optimises power consumption. The S650DJJ-T01 has a wide viewing angle of 89 degrees from all directions, and delivers a true colour image even when viewed from the side, adds Display Technology.
The outdoor kit includes all the necessary accessories, except for a fan.
