Displaytech’s TFT LED display modules are in stock at TME
Polish component distributor, Transfer Multisort Elektronik (TME) has announced in-stock availability of a range of TFT graphic modules from Displaytech, a Seacomp division. The TFT LED RGB displays are available in sizes ranging from 1.8 to 7.0-inch and are suitable for various applications, including home automation, industrial controls, consumer products and medical devices.
“Displaytech’s 25 years of experience in manufacturing displays, together with the attention it pays to quality and precise colour rendering, has made their products popular with both small to large companies including many Tier 1 multinational corporations,” says Adam Kuczyński, co-founder and business development director at TME.
The control system (driver) is attached directly to the glass. The connection with the PCB is via a flexible printed circuit (FPC) connector on which the other control elements are located.
The TFT display modules join Displaytech display modules with capacitive or resistive touch panels that are available from TME. The distributor also stocks IPS (in-plane switching) panels for applications which require displays that emit vivid colours and offer a wider viewing angle, compared to the classic TFT technology.
Displaytech specialises in small to mid-size LCDs and provides technical support to customers in industrial, consumer, and medical industries. As a display supplier, Displaytech’s primary LCD products include touchscreen TFTs, monochrome graphic LCDs, and character display modules.
