Enclosures meet needs of today’s machine control equipment
Tough enclosures have been released by Rolec for machine control equipment. The profiPanel enclosures are stylish, touch and versatile, says the company.
The profiPanel enclosures are IP65-rated making them suitable for a range of industrial applications. They can be mounted from the top or bottom on Rolec’s profiPlus 50 suspension arm system or to a wall or machine housing using the optional 180 degree pivot bracket.
There are a range of depths available to accommodate all types of displays and electronic control equipment. Internal rails using M4/M5 nuts to faciliate mounting of the equipment.
The front of the enclosure is made to measure, offering almost edgeless flush mounting of a front plate, which is permanently connected to the housing. Front plate cut-outs can be provided to customer specifications to accommodate a display or switches. The enclosures can be hinged with locks for easy access or bolted.
Rolec manufactures profiPlus in customer-specified plan sizes from 150 to 800mm They are available in eight depth sizes, 60, 90, 120, 150, 180, 210, 240 and 300mm. All the housings are manufactured from extruded aluminium with light grey (RAL 7035) polyamide corner covers.
Optional keyboard sections are available in standard depths of 60 and 90mm. They are connected to the main unit by adapters which offer space for routeing HDMI or DVI cables.
Other optional extras include an ergonomic handle system, a keyboard and mouse tray and a wall/machine pivot mount with 180 degree rotation.
Customising options include CNC machining, bespoke colours, printing and engraving of legends and logos, EMC shielding, membrane keypads and full assembly.
