Entry-level two-channel oscilloscope range offers multiple protocols
Four two-channel oscilloscopes from Keysight Technologies have a feature set beyond its entry-level, affordable price, credentials.
The two-channel models in the InfiniiVision 1000 X-Series range from 50 to 200MHz bandwidth, and include a standard decode function for five serial data protocols and remote connection via local area networks (LANs) and USB.
The InfiniiVision 1000 X-Series oscilloscopes use the same user interface and measurement technology found in Keysight’s higher performance InfiniiVision oscilloscopes. The intuitive front panel, is now available in 15 languages, and features built-in help for customers to quickly understand oscilloscope functions and options. It also helps improve overall test efficiency, with setup tips for complex analysis options.
The InfiniiVision 1000 X-Series models are available as 50, 70, 100, and 200MHz models and are bandwidth upgradable via software license.
Custom Keysight MegaZoom IV ASIC technology delivers up to 200,000 waveforms per second update rate and 2Gsamples per second.
The oscilloscopes saves space by integrating a frequency response analyser (Bode plots), 20MHz function generator, protocol analyser, digital voltmeter and frequency counter.
Standard USB and LAN connectivity enables multiple engineers to work on one instrument by connecting to the network via LAN and accessing an internet browser for remote control.
Measurements and software analysis capabilities include the fast fourier transform (FTT) function to analyse the frequency domain while the scopes can also quickly analyse and determine signal parameters by finding crosstalk and distortion problems caused by amplifier non-linearity as well as pass/fail mask testing up to 200,000 tests per second.
Standard serial data functionality that provides trigger and decode for the most common low-speed serial protocols and the lister function makes it easy for users to see packets of time-correlated data, and errors are highlighted.
There are 16 pre-loaded, complementary training signals to ensure rapid use of the advanced measurement and analysis in the InfiniiVision 1000 X-Series. The training signals can also be used in conjunction with the free educator’s training kit, which includes a comprehensive oscilloscope lab guide and oscilloscope fundamentals slide set.
