Fanless embedded PC meets EN 50155 for vehicles and railways
Equipped with power protection that includes intelligent vehicle power management technology for ACC on/off delay, shutdown delay, and over/under voltage protection, the UST500-517-FL is an embedded PC from Axiomtek.
The rugged UST500-517-FL is powered by the LGA1151 socket 7th/6th generation Intel Core and Pentium processors up to 65W with the Intel Q170 chipset. The integrated 16 Power over Ethernet (PoE) ports are available in RJ-45 or M12 connectors for IP cameras.
The intelligent vehicle power management technology for ACC on/off delay, shutdown delay, and over-/under-voltage protection is combined with a robust structure and system design, says Axiomtek. The transportation embedded box is able to operate over a wide temperature range from -40 to +70°C and vibration endurance up to 3Grms. The UST500-517-FL complies with E-Mark and EN 50155 for mobile surveillance applications.
The 16 Gigabit LAN ports support 802.3at/af PoE with a total power budget of 200W. DVI-D, HDMI and VGA interfaces support three surveillance monitors and the external SIM card slot enables users to change SIM cards for different telecommunications service. Using wireless LAN modules, the UST500-517-FL can real-time transmits the video to the control centre. The two built-in or four swappable SATA hard drives are for mass storage of video files for mobile surveillance in vehicles or the railway environment.
The transportation embedded system has I/O to meet different needs, including one six-in and two-out isolated DIO, two DB9 RS-232/422/485, four USB 3.0, VGA, DVI-D, HDMI, audio, five antenna opening, and up to 16 PoE ports. Communications capability includes two full-sized and two half-sized PCI Express Mini Card slots and two SIM card slots for 3G/4G, GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth applications. For system integrators with extensive storage needs, the transportation box PC offers four swappable or two built-in 2.5-inch SATA HDD and one mSATA.
