Farnell adds NGP800 series from Rohde & Schwarz

The NGP800 Series of power supplies by Rohde & Schwarz comprises five models operating at 400 and 800W.

Farnell, has added the NGP800 Series of power supplies to its portfolio. The five two- and four-channel models operate at either 400W or 800W. They are intended for both bench-top and automated test systems.

The NGP800 series of power supplies have a five-inch, high-resolution touch display that makes synchronising outputs, performing waveform tests and logging data for in-depth analysis easy, says Farnell.

All models feature two or four outputs that can be connected in parallel or series to increase output current or voltage. Each output is capable of independent operation, with a synchronised on/off function.

Safety features include over-current protection (OCP), over-voltage protection (OVP), over-power protection (OPP) and thermal overload shutdown functions to protect the load. Maximum output current, voltage and power can be set separately for each channel.

The power supplies have an output ramp function (EasyRamp), output delay and arbitrary function (QuickArb). There is also simultaneous logging of voltage and current on all outputs, with data available as a .CSV file for reports and documentation. Another feature is remote sensing to improve voltage regulation.

Connectivity options include the standard USB and LAN interfaces which enable the NGP800 to be controlled remotely in ATE systems or production lines. There is also an optional GPIB interface, digital trigger I/O, analogue input and wireless LAN.

All models come with a three-year warranty as standard

Farnell offers an extensive range of products to support electronic design, manufacture and test engineers. Customers also have free access to online resources, data sheets, application notes, videos and webinars on Farnell’s website and 24/5 technical support.

All models of the Rohde & Schwarz NGP800 Series are available from Farnell in EMEA, element14 in APAC and Newark in North America.

Farnell is a business unit of Avnet.
