Farnell discounts Tektronix DSO – while stocks last
The entry level TBS2000B digital storage oscilloscope (DSO) from Tektronix features automated measurements to assist electronics designers, test engineers and educators, says Farnell. The distributor is offering the new DSO at a promotional 15 per cent discount while stocks last.
The TBS2000B has easy-to-use controls, automated measurements and large nine-inch display for advanced debugging, says Farnell. It builds on the earlier TBS2000 model, and is designed as a drop-in replacement for TBS2000 series oscilloscopes, with the same form factor and programmable interface.
In addition to the nine-inch WVGA display with a five million point record length it has a 2Gsamples per second sampling rate which enables users to capture and display significantly more signal, speeding up debug and design validation.
It offers 32 automated measurements and on-waveform cursor readouts with search and mark features that enable easy identification of events that occur in the acquired waveform.
Tektronix’s proprietary probe support interface, the TekVPI, enables wide application coverage using the active differential and current probes with automatic scaling and units. According to Farnell, the TBS2000B is the industry’s only entry-level instrument featuring TekVPI. It also supports traditional passive BNC probes.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi support (via USB Wi-Fi dongle), two USB host ports, and 100-BaseT Ethernet for easy sharing of measurements and collaboration.
The Tektronix TBS2000B series is suitable for a range of applications including IoT, automotive, defence, power and education. The intuitive control via the nine-inch display and automated measurements will increase productivity and speed up design and test processes, said the distributor.
