Farnell element14 adds Aim TTi’s dual channel arbitrary function generators

Performance and value for money are claimed for the AimTTi TGF3000 series of dual channel arbitrary function generators. The latest addition to the distributor’s instrumentation range is claimed to offer class-leading performance and unrivalled value for money in 160 and 80MHz models.

The TGF3000 series initially consists of two models, the TG3082 (dual channel, 80MHz, 14-bits / 400Msample per second) and TG3162 (dual channel 160MHz, 16-bits / 800Msample per second). They have two identical, full performance channels that can operate as independent generators or in coupled or tracking modes.

Channel to channel phase control with a resolution of 0.001 degree is provided. A wide range of built-in waveforms is included and custom arbitrary waveforms can be used at sample speeds up to 800Msample per second and replay rates up to 80MHz. PC based arbitrary waveform generation and editing software is also provided. High resolution, low jitter pulses can be generated and the noise function provides wideband Gaussian noise at bandwidths up to 100MHz and crest factor of more than five. An array of modulations use internal and external sources. Gated, burst and sweep modes can use internal or external trigger sources. Remote control via USB and LXI compliant LAN (standard) can be supplemented by optional GPIB if required.

The TGF3000 series is available to buy from Farnell element14 in Europe and element14 in Asia Pacific.
