GradConn coaxial cable assemblies can now offer secure lock MHF I LK micro connector

The secure lock I-PEX MHF I LK micro connector is now available on GradConn coaxial cable assemblies. This option can be specified on assemblies to connect antennas to wireless modules and other popular PCI card types.

An integrated locking mechanism suits the MHF I LK to applications that require a secure and reliable connection. This enhancement to standard MHF types deals with potential issues from vibration and shock as the connection itself is more stable.

A profile height of 2.9mm makes it lower than the standard I-PEX MHF I connector. Frequency is rated from DC to 6GHz and the connector has outside receptacle dimensions of 3.0 x 3.0mm.

The MHF I LK, when combined with GradConn Nautilus range of IP rated connectors – which includes SMA, TNC, BNC and N-Type connectors – on the assembly, provides a complete cable solution for devices in harsh environments.

“The IoT has contributed to a rise in products within wireless devices, mobile telecoms and GPS sectors.  New and exciting applications are appearing that require coaxial connections in demanding conditions such as Agri-tech and smart waste management, all of which are taking full advantage of the features and specifications Nautilus has to offer,” said Andy Hamlin, global sales manager at GradConn.

The GradConn cable assembly builder will configure a tailored solution for customers’ applications to ensure the right MHF I LK assembly.
