Greenliant offers industrial temperature NVMe U.2 SSDs

High capacity NVMe U.2 Industrial Enterprise PX series solid state drives (SSDs) are designed with three-bit-per-cell (TLC) 3D NAND and on-board DRAM. According to Greenliant, they provide consistent low latency and high I/O per second (IOPS) over the industrial temperature range (-40 to +85 degrees C).

The G7200 NVMe U.2 PX series offers high capacity operation and are offered in 1.92, 3.84 or 7.68Tbyte options and up to 500k/28k random read/write IOPS.

They also have on-chip adaptive RAID, to protect data from block or die failure. This feature also provides reliable failover, says the company.

Power loss protection circuitry helps prevent data corruption during power failures and the SSDs support hardware-based AES 256-bit encryption and crypto erase for data security.

The NVMe U.2 Industrial Enterprise PX series SSDs reach up to 2,500/1,900Mbytes per second sequential read/write performance and provide endurance of two drive writes per day (DWPD) for five years. According to the company, they combine the best of enterprise and industrial SSD features for high reliability automation, data centre, video, networking, transportation and aerospace applications.

Greenliant is sampling the G7200 Industrial Enterprise PX series SSDs to customers now, and expects to start volume shipping by the end of 2021. Greenliant is also shipping its high endurance G7200 EnduroSLC Industrial Enterprise EX Series SSDs in capacities from 800Gbyte to 1.92Tbyte, with up to 30 DWPD for five years.

With more than 30 years of solid state storage design expertise, Greenliant is dedicated to developing durable, reliable and secure storage solutions for embedded systems and enterprise data centres. The company is headquartered in Silicon Valley with product development centres in Santa Clara, Beijing, Shanghai, Xiamen and Hsinchu.
