High current shielded inductors comply to AEC-Q200
Three high current shielded power inductors announced by Bourns are AEC-Q200-compliant and have low radiation, low DC resistance, low buzz noise and wide operating temperature range, for a variety of end applications.
The SRP1580CA, SRP1510CA and SRP1513CA inductors offer high current capacity, compact size, high operating frequency and a high operating temperature range to meet the high current density, high temperature and reliability requirements for power management and EMI filtering in consumer, industrial and telecomms applications.
The inductors are manufactured with flat wire and Bourns’ formulated metal alloy powder core using a moulded construction manufacturing process. According to Bourns, this process enables a superior magnetically shielded construction that offers low DC resistance, high heating or saturation current, low buzz noise and excellent temperature stability for low magnetic field radiation.
All three inductor models are built with flat enamelled-coated wire with self-lead terminal for low DC resistance. The SRP1580CA, SRP1510CA and SRP1513CA inductors have an operating temperature range of -55 to +155 degrees C. They also have the same 16.5 x 15.5mm interchangeable footprint.
The SRP1580CA, SRP1510CA and SRP1513CA series inductors are available now and are RoHS-compliant and halogen-free.
Bourns manufactures and supplies position and speed sensors, circuit protection, magnetic components, microelectronic modules, panel controls and resistive products.
The company is headquartered in Riverside, California, USA.
Bourns serves a broad range of markets, including automotive, industrial, consumer, communications, medical (low/medium risk) and audio.
