High-CV capacitors by NIC Components are available from Omni Pro Electronics
Surface mount, high-CV aluminium electrolytic capacitors by NIC Components are now available from Omni Pro Electronics. The NAZR series supports power application requirements including 5G infrastructure, industrial IoT (IIoT) and -48 / -60V DC power designs.
The High-CV aluminium electrolytic capacitors have an extended 5000-hour load life rating at +105 degrees C (20,000 hours at +85 degrees C). The NAZR series has an operating temperature range of -55 to +105 degrees C and is available in six case sizes and in diameters of 12.5, 16 and 18mm. The capacitors cover capacitance values from 47 to 10,000 microF in voltage ratings from 6.3 to 100V DC. They also feature low 0.028 Ohm and high ripple current (2.64A rms) at 100kHz.
The NAZR series can be used as an alternate or replacement for the legacy NACKA series (NRND). The capacitors support power application requirements up to 100V DC including 5G infrastructure, higher voltage 57V IIoT and -48 / -60V DC power for telecommunication and datacomms network equipment.
The NAZR series supports optional wide terminals for high vibration applications and is packaged on tape and reel for automated pick and placement followed by reflow soldering to 245°C.
In addition to applications in the cellular network infrastructure, the capacitors are suitable for power circuits, power control and point of load (PoL) regulators, said Omni Pro Electronics.
NIC Components offers a wide variety of aluminium electrolytic capacitors, with operating ranges covering from -55 to +150 degrees C, in capacitance values from 0.1 to 82,000 microF (0.082F) and voltage ratings from 2.0 to 550V DC.
