HMI/display panel enclosures are for touchscreens

Industrial human machine interface (HMI)/panel enclosures from Rolec are sealed to IP65 and are designed for off-the-shelf and custom sizes of displays and touchscreens.

The enclosures are suitable for modern machine control applications across a wide range of industries, says Rolec and can accommodate a front plate or a glass panel for touch applications.

Commercially available built-in display panels can be flush-fitted directly into the front of the enclosure. Variants are available for B&R, Beckhoff, CRE Rösler and Siemens displays. There are also individual HMI/panel enclosures available.

The enclosures are manufactured from extruded aluminium profiles and corner pieces. Five front installation options are available, including touch panels.

The HMI/panel enclosures can be made to measure from 150 to 800mm for B&R, Beckhoff, CRE Rösler and Siemens displays or in bespoke sizes up to 800 x 800mm.

Options include three different door designs: a flush rear wall (fully bolted or hinged) to create a 70mm deep housing; a 15mm deep framed door with lock and internal hinges (total depth 85mm) and a 60mm deep framed door with lock and internal hinges (total depth 130mm). Internal mountings can be fitted in the door.

Finished front plates are also available. These can be drilled, stamped, engraved or printed and there is also a black (RAL 9005) plastic (POM) handle with a stainless steel inlay which can be laser-engraved.

HMI/panel enclosures can be fitted to a range of suspension arms but are ideally suited to Rolec’s profiPlus 50 arms, says the company.

Rolec customising services include CNC machining, custom colours, printing, engraving/laser engraving, EMC shielding, membrane keypads and full assembly.
