Industrial connector operates at 10Gbit data transmission
Adding to the Yamaichi plug series for Gigabit, the Y-ConRJ45 is designed for industrial environments and can be used with all of Yamaichi’s Y-Con components.
The CAT6A RJ45 connector supports 10Gigabit data transmission according to the ISO/IEC 11801 standard. Yamaichi reveals that the connector was introduced in response to demands for higher data transmission demands in the industrial arena, meaning that Gigabit Ethernet is required by more and more applications.
The RJ45 cable connecter is designed with integrated cable guide, EMC shielding – by virtue of being made of nickel-plated brass, and a rectangular cable crimp that prevents cable rotation. The tested life is more than 1,000 mating cycles and the operating temperatures range from -40 to +120 degrees C for extreme operating conditions in the field or the plant.
The CAT6A RJ45 connector can also be protected against external mechanical environmental influences according to the protection classes IP69K, IP68, IP67 and IP20. Protective covers made of high-grade materials such as PBT or zinc die-cast are part of the series.
The connector is RoHS-compliant.
