IPX rated speakers add their voice to CUI Devices’ waterproof range
The Audio Group of CUI Devices has announced the introduction of IPX5, IPX7, and IPX8 rated speakers to its portfolio of IP67 rated waterproof speakers. The CMS waterproof speaker models are designed for use in a range of harsh environments where they offer protection against moisture and liquid ingress, said CUI Devices. The new speaker models feature sound pressure levels from 85 to 108dB and packages from 15mm up to 57mm with profiles as low as 2.5mm.
These waterproof speakers are available in a choice of rectangular or round frame shapes, solder pad or spring contact mounting styles, and are available as PEEK, PEI, or PET cone types. They are constructed with Neodymium magnets and carry resonant frequencies from 180 to 1200Hz, nominal inputs from 0.8 to 3.0W and impedance ratings of 4.0 or 8.0 Ohms.
The CMS models are available immediately from CUI Devices and through its distribution network. They available from stock with lead times of eight weeks.
