KEC’s EMC interconnect range is available from Princeps
Shielded connectors, back shells, bulkhead glands and EMC products by KEC are now available at distributor Princeps on short lead times.
The accredited specialist distributor of obsolete and difficult to source electronic, electrical and e-mech components has announced a franchise agreement with specialist UK interconnect manufacturer KEC. Following the authorised reseller agreement, Princeps will supply KEC’s full portfolio of interconnect products, including D-type connectors, M-12 connectors and cables, Profibus connectors and cables, back shells, bulkhead glands, panel fittings and conduit systems.
KEC is a specialist in EMC interconnect technology, offering a range of products which incorporate screening techniques developed from its 40 years’ experience. The range of products is designed for applications across multiple industries, including aerospace and defence, naval, rail, power distribution, nuclear power, automation and medical. KEC interconnects are a price-competitive option compared with some other leading suppliers, said Princeps, and can be matched to parts from most major manufacturers. The products are manufactured in the UK, with “significantly reduced” lead times of around six to eight weeks.
Dan Hughes, Princeps’ managing director, announced the company is delighted to have been appointed by KEC and “to offer our worldwide customer base the benefit of KEC’s patented technologies in the vital design aspect of EMI/RFI shielding”.
