LCD kits for medical imaging comply with DICOM Part 14
At this week’s Medica (18 to 21 November) Advantech is launching LCD kits for medical imaging applications.
The IDK-1121MD series is geared specifically towards medical imaging applications. It has a 21.5-inch full HD IPS display, LED backlight and a scaler board supporting DICOM part 14 gamma calibrations and VGA/DVI/DP interfaces. It offers wide viewing angles, as well as accurate, high-quality image reproduction, says Advantech. The series is equipped with an independent six-axis colour adjustment function to adjust colour performance for precision and accuracy.
The IDK-1121MD gives customers the mechanical design flexibility to fit their own systems such as ultrasound and surgical imaging.
Unlike other industrial applications, says Advantech, medical imaging displays require consistent and accurate imaging across different display devices. Full
HD resolution makes the images on display appear sharper and clearer with 2Mpixel resolution.
Using 10-bit simultaneous grayscale, IDK-1121MD can display over one billion colours to provide an accurate greyscale representation. Auto brightness sensors and RS-232 for the remote control function are also available via customisation.
The IDK-1121MD is available for order now and will be showcased at Medica, Düsseldorf, Germany, 18 to 21 November 2019, stand 9A74.
