Lemo Connectors signs distribution deal with Lane Electronics
Following the signing of a distribution agreement, Lane Electronics has been appointed franchised distributor for Lemo Connectors.
The franchised distributor describes Lemo as a leader in the design and manufacture of precision high-performance connectors which are used in challenging application environments including motorsport, defence, medical, industrial control, test and measurement, audio visual and telecommunications.
The manufacturer has been designing precision connectors for seven decades and currently offers more than 75,000 combinations of products; a number which continues to grow through custom specific designs. Nick Wheeler, sales director of Lane Electronics, comments: “LEMO connectors strengthen our product portfolio allowing us to offer their products to our customer base, especially in the UK motorsport and defence markets. We will be adding our usual benefits of high levels of customer service, technical support and a dedicated stock profile to make this great product range even easier to access and use,” he added.
Lane Electronics will initially be targeting and supporting customers with the Lemo M and F series of circular connectors, which are popular ranges for these applications. Connectors in the M series feature a ratchet screw system with multiple alignment keys enabling quick and secure coupling. The F connector series of compact, self-latching multi-pole connectors also have multiple alignment keys. Both connector series are suitable for harsh environment.
Lane Electronics supplies all key connector types including circular, filtered, RF, coaxial, sub-miniature, back shells and adapters, D connectors, aerospace, test and measurement, IDC, PCB connectors, edge connectors and connectors for rack and panel applications.
It boasts a multi-million-pound connector and piece-part stockholding and next-day delivery, to serve a variety of industry sectors including motorsport, defence, avionics, marine, communications, medical, test and measurement, general industrial and geophysical.
Lane Electronics, also known as FC Lane Electronics, is part of the Lodge Group which includes high reliability circular and military connector manufacturer Weald Electronics.
Lane Electronics is a franchised distributor for many of the industry’s leading electrical and electronic connector manufacturers including Huber+ Suhner, Souriau, Radiall and Pancon.
The franchised distributor has IECQ – CECC, ISO and QPL approvals.
