Live Electronics offers Deltron’s filtered D-sub connectors with custom service too

Independent distributor, Live Electronics, has introduced Deltron’s range of filtered D-sub connectors. They protect from the effects of electromagnetic and radio interference, said Live Electronics.

The new filtered D-Sub connectors are available as standard components or can be custom-engineered in low and high volumes to match customers’ exact specification.

Live Electronics’ managing director, Luke Hartley, commented: “The choice of standard options is extensive, so most customers will be able to find precisely what they need from our normal product list. For specialised applications or product designs with a unique configuration, we work with the engineers at Deltron AG to develop customised solutions. Depending on complexity this can generally be achieved in relatively short time frames.”

The standard connectors are compliant with MIL-C-24308 and IEC 60807 (DIN 41652) standards. Filter values range from 330pF to 6,800pF, with the option of nine, 15, 25 or 37 poles in plug or socket configurations, and with straight, 90 degree or SMD contacts in solder pin, solder cup or press-fit variations.

Deltron filtered D-Sub connectors are available with either a C-Planar filter, with Planar chip capacitors, or PI-tubular ceramic capacitors. In each case, the construction of the connector is designed to ensure complete HF-tightness, mechanical stability and “excellent signal capabilities”.
