Medical grade DC/DC converter operates in extended temperature range
The PTP15 series of 15W, five-pin DIP isolated DC/DC converters have been developed by CUI for medical instrumentation and home medical supplies.
They offer 4000V AC isolation or 5600V DC isolation with a 2:1 input voltage range. The DC/DC converter series is compliant with the IEC/EN 60601-1 and EN 55011 Class A safety standards without external components. The converter is housed in an industry standard 2.0 x 1.0 inch (50 x 25mm) encapsulated, board mountable package. It can operate at temperatures from -40 to +100 degrees C and features output over-current, short circuit and over-voltage protections.
In addition to medical use, the PTP15 series is also suitable for low power consumer electronics and industrial equipment that requires high-isolation voltage.
