Miniature MOSFET relays are designed for quiet, bounce-free switching

The PhotoMOS SOP4 AQY212G3HS and AQY232G3HS relays are SOP4 60V miniature package PhotoMOS MOSFET relays by Panasonic Industry. The company said they ensure quiet, fast and bounce-free switching.
The AQY212G3HS and AQY232G3HS relays have a high operating temperature range of up to +105 and +125 degrees C respectively. This enables them to be used in higher temperature environments than conventional devices, making them suitable for a wide range of modern industrial equipment, testing, and measuring equipment as well as security and battery operating equipment.
The compact SOP4 package achieves an I/O withstand voltage of 3,750V rms (conventional 1,500V rms) and enables miniaturisation of highly insulated equipment. The AQY232G3HS components achieve high-capacity 2A load control and the AQY212G3HS relays have 1.8 A load control.

The AQY232G3HS components achieve a maximum LED current of 1mA, which is one third that of conventional models, said Panasonic Industry. This reduces LED current during use by up to 40 per cent and contributes to lower power consumption for the target applications. The AQY232G3HS models achieve an average of 0.8ms, which is about 57 per cent of the time of conventional models, noted the company. The increased speed of the switching operation largely improves the tact time of equipment and systems.
