Mouser Electronics offers Dynamic D8000 connectors for factory automation
Distributor Mouser Electronics is now stocking the Dynamic D8000 pluggable connectors from TE Connectivity. The Dynamic D8000 pluggable connectors feature high current capacity, including 1,000V DC rated voltage, 3,000V AC withstand voltage and 100A current per pin.
The connectors support a range of applications, including battery management systems, battery test equipment, factory automation and robotics.
The TE Connectivity robotics Dynamic D8000 pluggable connectors are available as both wire-to-wire (WTW) and wire-to-board (WTB) modules with two-position construction. The connectors are designed with an audible lock to ensure safe and reliable locking. In addition, crimping contacts save valuable assembly time for device designers.
The Dynamic D8000 pluggable connectors have 58N per-pin mating and unmating forces. They also feature silver plating on the mating surface with a polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) and high temperature nylon housing. The robust connectors also offer 98N and above contact retention force in the housing.
