Mouser stocks Infineon’s CIPOS inverter modules for motor drives
Three-phase inverter modules that offer high power density for variable speed motor drives in appliances, such as washing machines, cooker hoods, air conditioning units and commercial and industrial fans makeup the CIPOS Tiny range from Infineon Technologies. They are now available from Mouser Electronics.
The Infineon CIPOS Tiny modules use the latest TrenchStop IGBT 6 to reduce footprint by 330 per cent compared with the CIPOS Mini series. Modules incorporate a single three-phase, level-shifting high voltage driver IC and are compatible down to 3.3V controller outputs. The CIPOS Tiny modules features a blocking voltage of 600V and four output current classes from 6.0 to 20A. They deliver fail-safe operation and system level protection, says Mouser, with under-voltage lockout, a high-precision temperature monitor, and over-current protection.
Mouser also offers evaluation boards with different variants of the CIPOS Tiny modules on board. The boards work with the iMotion Modular Application Design Kit (MADK).
