OKW introduces smallest Evotec tabletop enclosure to date
Tabletop electronic enclosures from OKW are now available in five sizes, as the company introduces the Mini-Size 80, the smallest in the Evotec range of plastic enclosures.
The soft-contoured Evotec is elegant and ergonomic but tough enough for challenging working environments, says OKW. Applications include measurement and control, IT, IoT and IIoT, gateways, medical, laboratory and environmental technology.
The Evotec 80 measures 80 x 50mm. It has a large, flat (non-recessed) top for switches, push buttons and touch displays. The other four sizes in the range are 100 x 62mm (Evotec 100), 150 x 93mm (Evotec 150), 200 x 124mm (Evotec 200) and 250 x 155mm (Evotec 250).
The Evotec 200 and Evotec 250 enclosures are also available with a 12 degree inclined top (either recessed or non-recessed) for what OKW describes as a superior viewing angle for desktop use.
All Evotec enclosures have screw pillars in the top and base for installing PCBs. Self-adhesive rubber feet ensure stability on flat surfaces. The enclosures are assembled using Torx assembly screws to prevent tampering, this also makes them particularly suitable for medical electronics.
The enclosures’ soft contours are moulded from UV-stable ASA+PC-FR (UL 94 V-0) in off-white (RAL 9002) as standard. Accessories include an optional IP 65 seal, wall suspension elements, a fastening element for DIN rails, self-tapping screws (PZ1 and Torx T8) and a Torx T8 screwdriver.
OKW can supply fully customised Evotec enclosures on request. Services include custom colours, EMC shielding, CNC machining, lacquering, screen/tampo/digital printing or laser marking of legends and logos, installation and assembly of accessories.
