Panasonic Industry shrinks two-pole safety relay
Claimed to be the the smallest two-pole safety relay with power contacts on NO and NC sides, the SFM relay series offers forcibly guided contacts according to EN61810-3, says Panasonic Industry.
The 1a1b SFM relay has a height of only 7.8mm and reflow soldering capability. It has been designed to accommodate future production processes says Panasonic Industry. It offers power contacts on both NO (6A) and NC (4A) sides to control loads like valves directly, without another relay in between. The silver alloy contacts can handle low level loads down to 10V 1mA, to support signaling boards in the railway industry and similar demands. It has a high shock and vibration resistance of 20g and above. Other features are low coil holding power of 100mW, an ambient temperature
range from -40 to +85 degrees C and reinforced insulation.
