PoE injectors support 2.5G, 5G and 10G transmission rates
Phihong has expanded its range of mini single-port Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) injectors with models that support 2.5G, 5G and 10G transmission rates. The POEA30U-1AT is believed to be the first IEEE802.3at compliant mid-span mini single port injectors to meet the US Department of Energy’s (DOE VI) efficiency regulations for external power supplies.
The multi-gig support models feature shielded RJ45 jacks to provide better immunity to noise and reduced crosstalk. Phihong’s POEA30U-1AT series injectors are able to support customers that require increased data speeds, for example in IP cameras, VoIP phones, building/access control equipment, Wi-Fi access devices, and IP print servers.
The POEA30U-1AT series injectors are compact, they measure just 45 x 140 x 30mm (1.79 x 5.52 x 1.18-inch) and are believed to be the smallest IEEE802.3at injectors with an integrated 30W AC/DC internal power supply. The additions to the Phihong portfolio are the first IEEE8002.3at-compliant mid-span available to meet the US Department of Energy’s (DOE VI) efficiency regulations for external power supplies. The injectors feature three-wire input models, full over-voltage and over-current protection, as well as a non-vented case.
