Positronic’s MIL-DTL-M24308 connector series is in stock at Powell Electronics

Specialising in connectors for high-rel applications, Powell Electronics has added Positronic’s M24308 connectors to its line card.
The compact and QPL approved MIL-DTL-M24308 connectors are suitable for applications where space and weight are at a premium, e.g., in high density packages in military applications like military equipment, ground support devices and computer peripheral equipment. They are also suitable for use in modems, information systems, communication systems, industrial instrumentation as well as space flight equipment, advised Powell.
The M24308 connectors benefit from a very wide operating temperature range of -55  to +125 degrees C. They also feature a standard or high density layout, a variety of termination styles (crimp, solder cup, and straight or right-angle PCB mount), several contact variants (fixed contacts, size 20 crimp removable contacts, size 22 fixed and removable contacts), different package sizes and creative accessories.
Powell Electronics is a specialist in high reliability, harsh environment connector design, manufacturing and its supply chain. In the USA, Powell has 70,000 square feet of connector manufacturing capabilities at its Swedesboro, New Jersey facility, which is certified to ISO9001 and AS9100. The company also offers automated engineering solutions and connector ODM services. It is an authorised, QPL’ed distributor for over 50 military specifications and is ISO9120 certified.
In Europe, Powell Electronics operates from headquarters in Dublin, Ireland and other European locations, where technical staff are available to support design-in activities. Franchises include Glenair, Harwin, Amphenol Aerospace, Quell, AB Connectors, Lemo, Conesys as well as Positronic.
Powell says it is able to address a broad range of demanding connector applications with products that range from miniature PCB-mount devices to high voltage, high current hi-rel solutions.
