Power specialist, MPE, breaks the mould and appoints UK distributor
For the first time in its history, MPE has appointed an authorised distributor to supply its products to the UK market. It has appointed SACA Group as an authorised distribution partner for the UK to manage the increased business in MPE’s home market.
Historically MPE has traded with its UK clients directly, but over the past five years, MPE has seen its UK business increase exponentially, with the number of UK clients ordering its unique EMC and EMP filters and capacitors now running into many hundreds. The design and manufacturing company has now adopted the same distribution model in the UK that it uses worldwide.
MPE will supply direct to its authorised distribution partners worldwide as well as major project integrators in the UK, but clients whose requirements are smaller in scale, or of a more occasional nature, will now be supplied through SACA Group.
SACA Group is a UK-registered company, with common ownership and the same management team as SACA Europe, in The Netherlands. The Group is staffed by trained engineers with degree qualifications with experience and expertise in electronics component distribution.
SACA Europe is already an authorised MPE distribution partner, serving Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia with MPE’s EMC and EMP filters and capacitors.
MPE and the SACA Group are independent of each other, and SACA UK will be based at the same address as MPE in Knowsley, Liverpool. The short lines of communication through this co-location will maximise the speed and efficiency of response to sales enquiries and technical questions and of subsequent product supply to the UK market, says MPE. It also allows custom solutions to be discussed with MPE experts immediately, says the company.
SACA Group in the UK is also the authorised UK distributor for EMI Solutions, Konnect RF and Netzer Precision Motor Sensors as well as MPE.
