Power supply meets 62368-1 safety standards

Tumbler Technologies + Trumpower introduces the TIPC180-FX/FXM, a 180W Flex ATX PC power supply for small chassis builds in industrial computers, atm and kiosk machines and telecommunications.

The TIPC180-FX is offered with fixed or modular output cable sets. Features include a wide input range of 90 to 264V AC, low ripple and noise, and an operating altitude of up to 5,000 meters.

The power supply is approved to the latest UL/IEC/EN 62368-1 safety standards and complies with EMI/EMC standards, including FCC, EN 55032 and CISPR 32, Class B conducted and radiated. It has an mean time between failure (MTBF) above 150,000 hours at full load and 25 degrees C ambient, calculated per MIL-HDBK-217F. Earth leakage current is 150 microA maximum at 264V AC, 50Hz.

The TIPC180-FX complies with Flex ATX standard suitable for small chassis builds using Flex ATX or Mini ITX motherboards.  Possible applications include compact industrial computers, DVR/NVR, NAS, ATM/kiosk machines, firewall, networking, and telecomms, advises TRUMPpower. It consists of DC voltage outputs and maximum loads of +3.3V/8A, +5V/12A, +12V/12A, -12V/0.3A, +5Vsb/2A. The maximum overall output is 180W, with +3.3V and +5V providing a maximum power of 61W.

The power supply measures 150 x 81.5 x 40.5mm (5.91 x 3.21 x 1.59 inches).

Additional features include over-voltage, over-current, short circuit protections, and 0 to 70 degrees C operating temperature (de-rated to 85 per cent at 60 degrees C, 60 per cent at 70 degrees C).
