Powerbox launches power solution for high speed e-commerce hub conveyers
The ENI250A series from Powerbox is designed to deliver peak power to motor start and/or high capacitive loads in factory automation applications and automated parcel-hubs.
The three-phase ENI250A delivers a constant 250W, up to 480W peak power with an efficiency of up to 94 per cent. It includes a microcontroller that offers various options to adjust protection behaviour to meet customer requirements.
For 24VDC motors, the 250W ENI250A24 can deliver 480W peak power for one second, sustain high capacitive loads and manage energy recycling when a DC motor is decelerating or stopping.
The unit has an operating temperature range from -25 to +70 degrees C Other output voltages are available on demand to power 36V, 48V DC motors, as well customised voltages.
The ENI250A24 includes soft-start, over current, voltage and temperature protection. An LED indicator informs the status of the power supply and a DC-OK signal and remote reset provide for easy integration within the conveyer operation management system.
The series is designed using Powerbox’s power platform concept and employs an active power factor correction along with compact LLC topology.
Accepting input voltages from 323VAC to 560VAC three phase, the series is designed to meet safety specifications 60950-1 and 62368-1. EMC is in accordance with EN61000-6-3 and EN61000-6-2.
Housed in an IP54 case, the ENI250A24 has dimensions of 250 x 160 x 55mm, weighs 1.5Kg and mounting brackets are available for easy installation. Designed to integrate easily within customers’ equipment, the ENI250A platform can be factory re-configured to fit specific form-factors.
