Princeps adds Coax Connectors to EEE portfolio

Accredited distributor of obsolete and difficult to source electronic, electrical and e-mech (EEE) components, Princeps, has been appointed by Coax Connectors, the RF connector manufacturer.

The distribution agreement includes Coax’s straight and angled RF connectors which are manufactured in the UK and Asia to stringent ISO 9001/2015 quality standards.

Its full range of straight and angled interconnects are available through Princeps. In addition to standard gold and nickel–plated designs, alternative finishes are available including black nickel, white bronze and stainless steel, as well as custom interconnect products.

Coax Connectors can work closely with Princeps to design and manufacture cable assemblies to customers’ requirements for both small prototype quantities or full production orders.

David Nash, sales director at Princeps, said: “We are delighted to partner with Coax Connectors – its robust RF products . . . and its expertise in multiple markets including aerospace and defence, medical, transportation and others aligns closely with our own customer base.” The company’s competitive pricing structure will be enhanced by joint FAE [field application engineer] customer visits, ensuring customers benefit from product-specific knowledge combined with advice on our flexible ordering and delivery services as designs ramp into production, he continued.

Princeps simplifies the sourcing of safe, traceable, hard-to-find and obsolete components for customers in the hi-rel sector, including aerospace and defence, mass-transit, medical and other advanced industries.

Princeps holds both AS9120 and AS6081-accreditations and is the trusted single-source supplier of parts from thousands of manufacturers, taking responsibility for counterfeit mitigation, obsolescence management and smoothing supply chain issues for its customers. The company also offers kitting solutions, including full project management and vendor tail reduction.
