The portfolio includes Qorvo’s QPA2575 Ka-band power amplifier. The integrated, 50 Ohm impedance matched surface mount amplifier provides a 19dB small signal gain to deliver up to 3.0W output power over 32 to 38GHz. The input and output include DC blocking capacitors.
There is also the QPA2310 C-band 50W GaN power amplifier, in a QFN package which provides a +23dB gain with up to 53 per cent power added efficiency. It is designed for applications operating in the 5.0 to 6.0GHz C-band spectrum. All input and output matching components are integrated within the device, saving board space and weight.
Another GaN-based power amplifier is the QPA2309. Based on Qorvo’s QGaN25HV process, the 100W C-band GaN power amplifier also operates in the 5.0 to 6.0GHz C-band and includes all matching components. It delivers up to +23dB gain with a 52 per cent power added efficiency.
The Qorvo QPL181x suite of CATV amplifier ICs are single-ended, matched, 75Ohm, low noise, small signal GaAs RF amplifiers designed specifically for use in cable modems, FTTH infrastructure, DOCSIS 4.0, and set-top box applications operating in the 50 to 1800MHz frequency range. The small signal gain characteristics across the series is typically 15dB.
Finally, the Qorvo QPQ1298 high performance bulk acoustic wave (BAW) filter is designed specifically for the 160MHz bandwidth sub-band 41 uplink and downlink applications, the BAW filter features a low insertion loss of 2.5dB and an attenuation characteristic better than +30dB and up to +46dB in the Wi-Fi range.
