Quad-output DC/DC µModule regulator pair accelerates design time

Two integrated µModule regulators from Analog Devices reduce component count, board space and power usage and also reduce design time.

The LTM4668 and LTM4668A are quad-output DC/DC regulators with up to 4.8A output capability. They integrate switching controllers, power FETs, inductors and support components, to ease the design process, reduce power consumption and board space in telecomms, networking and industrial applications, says Analog Devices.

The LTM4668 and LTM4668A operate over an input voltage range of 2.7 to 17V and support an output voltage range of 0.6 to 1.5V for the LTM4668 and 0.6 to 5.5V for the LTM4668A. The devices support frequency synchronisation, PolyPhase operation, selectable Burst Mode operation, 100 per cent duty cycle and low IQ operation. According to Analog Devices, the high switching frequency and current mode architecture enables a very fast transient response to line and load changes without sacrificing stability.
