Rackmount network appliance has processing for virtualised security

Based on the LGA3647 socket 2nd generation Intel Xeon scalable processor, the NA861 is a customisable, 1U rackmount network appliance by Axiomtek.

It supports the Intel C621 chipset and has two Gigabit Ethernet ports and four expandable LAN modules supporting 1GbE/10GbE/fibre/copper/bypass with a maximum of 34 LAN ports.

The NA861 is suitable for enhancing digital security and surveillance, network traffic management and virtualised network security.

The NA861 has six DDR4-2400 R-DIMM slots supporting up to 192Gbyte of non-buffer non-ECC/ECC memory. The Intel Xeon-based network computing appliance also has two internal 2.5-inch SATA hard drives and one mSATA for event logs storage. The 1U rackmount network appliance platform has multiple I/O interfaces including one RS-232 port (RJ-type), two USB 2.0 ports, one VGA port, two RJ-45 GbE LAN ports with Intel Ethernet Controller i210-AT and one VGA port. It also supports 1U 400W redundant power supply and Linux Kernel operating system.

The Intelligent Platform Management Interface 2.0 (IPMI 2.0) allows users to remotely manage and monitor servers. The NA861 also supports Trusted Platform Module 1.2 to provide efficient data encryption for secure hardware-based data protection.
