Raltron Electronics and New Yorker Electronics sign distribution agreement

Crystals, oscillators, antennas and frequency management products by Raltron Electronics are now available from New Yorker Electronics following a distribution franchise agreement signed by the two companies.

According to New Yorker’s vice president, Barry Slivka, “This agreement gives our customers direct access to Raltron’s high performance frequency management solutions that consistently exceed expectations — particularly in terms of price, quality and high-volume manufacturing.”

Founded in 1983, Raltron Electronics manufactures crystal and oscillator devices. The ISO 9001:2015 manufacturing and design company also supplies SAW devices and LTCC filters and has developed a product range of antennas for the same markets.

For the IoT and machine to machine (M2M) markets, Raltron has passive components packages including crystals, TCXOs, SAW filters, LTCC filters and baluns and a variety of antennas as prescribed by the corresponding ICs. It also has manufacturing sites in both Asia and the United States and claims that lead times are some of the best in the industry.

The company supplies metal can and ceramic package crystals as well as precision oscillator design and manufacturing for use in alarm and security, Bluetooth, ZigBee, computer and storage, consumer and fibre infrastructure sectors. Other markets are Gbit/10GbE, industrial control, instrumentation, medical, microwave radio and basestation, solar technology, utility meters and the smart grid, VoIP, WiMax and wearable devices. Its manufacturing sites have Class 10K clean rooms and automated production lines.

As a franchise distributor, New Yorker Electronics supplies Raltron’s antennas including RCA chip, RDM dome and RDP diphole antennas, frequency components including clock oscillators, crystals and crystal filters and RF connectors.

Headquartered in Northvale, New Jersey, New Yorker Electronics, is a global franchised distributor of electronic components and value-added services to OEMs and contract manufacturers in the commercial, industrial, and aerospace/defence, markets. Founded in 1948, the AS9120B and ISO 9001:2015-certified company provides direct franchise access to an extensive ready-to-ship inventory of passive, interconnect, electromechanical and Mil-Spec components, as well as semiconductor devices.
