Richardson RFPD adds GaN E-HEMT wireless power transfer eval board
Evaluation boards for class EF2 amplifiers from GaN Systems are now available from Richardson RFPD. The distributor also offers design support for the GSWP050W-EVBPA evaluation board for wireless power transfer applications.
The GSWP050W-EVBPA evaluation board is designed to support and expedite the innovation of wireless power transfer systems. The evaluation board uses GaN Systems’ GS61004B E-HEMTs in a 50W, 6.78 MHz class EF2 power amplifier.
The GSWP050W-EVBPA is suitable for wireless power and charging applications in consumer, industrial and automotive markets, including items like power tools, toys, professional microphones, handheld point-of-sale devices and household robots.
The GSWP050W-EVBPA includes constant current mode, push-pull and a high speed GaN driver in addition to the 100V/45A, 15mOhm GaN E-HEMTs.
