Richardson RFPD signs global franchise deal with SDP Telecom/Molex
Specialist RF, wireless distributor, Richardson RFPD, an Arrow Electronics company, has entered into a global franchise agreement with SDP Telecom/Molex. Key products include circulators and isolators for the wireless infrastructure.
SDP Telecom/Molex designs and manufacturers RF and microwave products for the wireless communications industry. SDP Telecom was founded in 1995 and acquired by Molex in 2015. SDP Telecom/Molex is headquartered in Montreal, Canada and also has manufacturing facilities in Suzhou, China.
The global agreement between Richardson RFPD and SDP Telecom/Molex includes the complete standard product portfolio of circulators and isolators for wireless infrastructure applications from 600MHz to over 6.0GHz, including a 28GHz circulator that is currently available for sampling. A customisation service is also available.
Richardson RFPD’s president, Rafael R. Salmi, commented: “SDP Telecom/Molex solutions are used by top-tier wireless infrastructure equipment makers to improve signal transmission efficiency over wireless networks”.
Molex has a presence in more than 40 countries, and offers products and services for many markets, including data communications, consumer electronics, medical, industrial, automotive and commercial vehicles.
