Right angle SMA connectors expand Nautilus connector range
Connector manufacturer, GradConn has introduced a 6GHz right-angle SMA connector to its Nautilus product range. It is designed for waterproof coaxial cable assemblies.
Claimed to be the first 6GHz right-angle SMA connector for higher frequency IP rated cable assemblies, the connector gives engineers more options when looking for water- and dustproof coaxial connections in their designs. The 6GHz capabilities cater for technology trends such as 5G and IoT applications.
SMA right-angle configurations can help with placement in some designs where the position of other components makes it difficult to route a standard straight cable, explains GradConn. The right angle SMA connector joins the Nautilus range for IP rated cable assemblies which has standard and reverse polarity variants. The company has also recently added a rear-mounted, 6GHz reverse polarity n-type bulkhead jack.
