Rolec offers polyTop IP 66 enclosures in 13 sizes
Single-channel fixings in the polyTop enclosure range maximise interior space, says Rolec. The polyTop glass fibre reinforced polyester enclosures are now available in 13 standard sizes.
The tough, smart IP 66 enclosures are suitable for a range of electronics applications in harsh indoor and outdoor environments. They are constructed from halogen-free GRP construction, which makes them resistant to chemicals, says Rolec.
The polyTop enclosures are size-compatible with Rolec’s aluNorm range of diecast aluminium enclosures, making a switch to GRP easy, adds the company.
Like aluNorm, all polyTop enclosures feature a single-channel lid and assembly fastening system to maximise internal space. Rolec also offers polyTop with a choice of four polyamide fixings, namely slotted (standard), triangular or square head to prevent tampering and hand screws for fast access.
Threaded bushes for the lid fastenings are manufactured from stainless steel, as are the exterior mounting brackets. Inside there are threaded M6 fixing pillars for installing terminal rails, PCBs and mounting plates.
Rolec polyTop’s 13 standard sizes range from 82 x 82 x 60mm to 404 x 404 x 160mm. They are available in pebble grey (RAL 7032) as standard or (optionally) deep black (RAL 9005).
Options and accessories for polyTop enclosures include IP 67 ingress protection and a silicone gasket which is temperature resistant from -50 to +140 degree C.
Rolec can supply polyTop fully customised and ready for the installation of PCBs. Services include CNC machining, custom colours and materials, printing, engraving, EMC shielding, membrane keypads and full assembly.
