RS Components offers high-intensity colour and white LEDs from Lumileds
For architectural, entertainment and emergency vehicle lighting applications, the Lumileds Luxeon CZ colour and white LED emitters are available from distributor, RS Components.
The LEDs are designed for high candela and lumen density applications, such as architecture and entertainment, colour-tuneable lamps and speciality lighting for emergency vehicles.
The Luxeon CZ colour portfolio includes a spectrum of choices including red, red-orange, amber, PC amber (phosphor converted), mint, green, cyan, blue and royal blue. Dominant or peak wavelengths for the devices range from 624 to 634nm for red, to 520 to 540nm for green, and 440 to 460nm for royal blue. Other characteristics of the colour portfolio include luminous/radiant flux measurements ranging from: 31mW, typically, for red; up to 425mW, typically, for royal blue; all with a tolerance of ±6.5 per cent, says RS Components.
The white LED series includes devices with 3000, 4000, 5000 and 5700K colour temperatures (CCT) with typical luminous flux measurements of 99, 109, 110 and 110mW respectively. Typical luminous efficacy (lumens per watt) is 133 for the three higher CCT devices.
The LEDs are offered in a hot/cold factor with low thermal resistance. Each LED is in a small, symmetrical 2.0 x 2.0mm2 package.
The Lumileds Luxeon CZ portfolio of LED emitters is now available from RS in the EMEA and Asia Pacific regions.
