Rutronik UK signs Gowin Semiconductor in distribution deal
Following the distribution agreement between Rutronik and Gowin, covering North American and Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Rutronik UK has signed a distribution agreement with Gowin Semiconductor to stock its FPGAs, logic blocks, software, IP core, reference designs and development kits.
Chinese semiconductor manufacturer, Gowin, provides a broad portfolio of programmable, user-friendly, cost- and performance-oriented FPGAs, logic blocks, design software, IP cores, reference designs, and development kits for the industrial, communications, medical, consumer, and automotive markets.
Mike Furnival, director of EMEA sales at Gowin, explains that the sign is a natural step for the company. “We are delighted to have . . . Rutronik to help us further grow our fast-developing business across not just EMEA but also North, Central and South America”. He believes the distributor’s “solution-based selling, technical expertise and excellent geographic coverage with be a great complement to our existing network of representative sales and niche and bespoke distributors.”
