Samwha aluminium electrolytic capacitors extend service life, says Rutronik
Offering lower resistance at high temperatures, the VP series of aluminium electrolytic capacitors by Samwha operate across a wide temperature range of -40 to +135 degrees. The capacitors have a low rate of change in capacitance at high voltage and temperature and are available from Rutronik.
They are AEC-Q200-compliant and are suitable for use in regenerative braking systems, EV (electric vehicle) power supplies and LED applications.
The VP series was developed with a low resistance, high temperature electrolyte and efficient raw materials. They meet requirements for miniaturisation by lowering resistance at high temperatures, which also helps to extend the life of circuits.
The VP series is available in the parameters of 10, 16, 25, and 35V up to 10,000 microF and a choice of sizes from 10 x 12.5 to 18 x 40mm. They are RoHS-compliant and “halogen-free”, confirms Rutronik.
